The term “Digital Renaissance” was coined by members of the art community in response to a growing demand for digital artwork. Renaissance art was a cultural rebirth at the close of the Middle Ages and rise of the Modern world. It is one of its distinguishing features to have developed highly realistic linear perspective, which helped people construct more realistic models of places in history.
Traditionally, during the Renaissance era, artwork consisted mainly of paintings and sculptures. However, today’s artists are using more diverse mediums including digital painting, computer generated animation and video art. Modern day innovations such as Photoshop have given way to entirely new forms of artistry that will forever change how we see the world around us. In recent years, modern technologies have given people new experiences by making them feel as if they are actually in a work of art.
